How to Create a Presale with Xmarket

Overview

Easily launch your own binary prediction market using Xmarket's presale creation system.

Requirements

In order to become eligible to create a presale market on Xmarket, you must stake 10,000 XEF tokens.

How To Stake XEF Tokens

1. When prompted, click the “Stake” button.

2. In the dialog box, input: 10000

3. Confirm the transaction in your connected wallet (e.g., MetaMask).

4. Wait for a success confirmation message.

5. Click “Close” to proceed to the full market creation flow.

Once staking is completed, the rest of the Create Market form becomes accessible.

Step 1: Access the Pre-Sale Market Page

1. Go to the Xmarket Testnet: https://testnet.xmarket.app

2. From the left-hand sidebar, click “Pre-Sale Markets.”

3. You’ll arrive at the Pre-Sale Markets dashboard:

4. Click “Create new market” to start.

Step 2: Start Market Creation

1. Click the “Create new market” link.

2. You’ll be redirected to the Market Creation Form.

3. This form will guide you through all required fields and settings.

Step 3: Fill Out Market Details

3.1 Market Title

• Enter a clear, measurable yes/no question.

  • Example: “Will Bitcoin reach $100,000 by the end of 2025?”

3.2 Market Type

• Select the type from the dropdown:

  • YES/NO is currently supported for binary outcomes.

3.3 Category

• Choose the most relevant category from the dropdown:

  • Crypto, Culture, Economy, Sports, Tech, Trending, World

3.4 Rules & Resolution Criteria

• Write detailed rules to define how your market will be resolved:

  • What outcome qualifies as "YES"

  • What outcome qualifies as "NO"

  • Data sources (e.g., links to official data sources)

  • Any specific exceptions and scenarios

3.5 Resolution Date

• Click the "Resolution Date" field.

• Use the calendar picker to select a date (e.g., Dec 31, 2025).

• Default time is set to 00:00 for simplicity.

Step 4: Review and Confirm

This is the final review step. Carefully check all the presale details you've entered.

Submit the Market:

1. Click the “CREATE MARKET” button.

2. Confirm your submission in the wallet dialog.

Once your market is created, you’ll see:

1. Success confirmation

2. Market status: Presale Live

3. Share link to invite participants

Your new market’s page includes:

1. Market title and question

2. Rules & resolution criteria

3. Token purchase module

4. Countdown to resolution

Question 1: Who can create a market on Xmarket?

• Answer: Any user can create a market by staking 10,000 XEF tokens and completing the presale creation flow.

Troubleshooting

Question 1: I staked 10,000 XEF but the form is still locked.

• Answer: Try refreshing the page. If it persists:

  • Ensure your wallet is connected

  • If you are using a web3 wallet extension (e.g., Metamask, OKX Wallet, Bitget Wallet), check if the correct wallet is connected to Xmarket.

  • Verify that the staking transaction was successful on-chain

  • Contact support if issue continues

Question 2: My market reached softcap but didn’t go live. Why?

• Answer: Two conditions must be met:

1. Softcap reached (≥ 100 USDX)

2. Presale end time has passed

If both are true and the market isn’t live, please check:

1. If it’s under admin review

2. Or contact platform support

Question 3: My trading fee rewards haven't arrived after resolution.

• Answer: Ensure:

  • Market has been officially resolved by admin

  • Revenue sharing has been approved

  • Distribution can only begin after both actions are completed

  Check the Market Status in the dashboard for confirmation.
