Resolving markets

Moderators are allowed to resolve markets, such as when a creator is active/inactive.

We expect market creators to act thoughtfully and in good faith when resolving their markets.

  1. Once the resolution criteria are clearly met, creators are encouraged to propose their market in a timely manner.

  2. Final decisions on market resolution rest with the moderators to ensure fairness and consistency. However:

    1. If a market outcome is genuinely ambiguous and there is disagreement, the creator may submit a dispute for review.

    2. Moderators may also resolve a market if the resolution criteria are clearly met.

  3. Traders have a 24-hour window to dispute a market after the creator proposes an outcome. If the window has passed and you believe a correction is still needed, you can reach out to an admin or Xmarket for help.
