How do I export my private key?

On Xmarket, users can export their private key by following these steps:

DO NOT disclose your private key to anyone, whether individuals, platforms, or services. If you lose your private key or share it with someone, they can take your funds.

Always store it securely and never paste it into websites, chats, or apps you don’t control.

Step 1: Access User Settings

1. Go to https://xmarket.app/.

2. Sign in using your email based account.

3. Click your user profile button in the top navigation bar (shows your username and avatar).

4. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.

Step 2: Access Export Private Key Feature

1. On the Settings page, click Export Private Key.

2. Read the security warning:

   • Exporting your private key gives you direct control and security over your funds.

   • Applicable only for email sign ups.

   • DO NOT share your private key with anyone. Xmarket will never ask for it.

Step 3: Initiate Export Process

1. Click the Start Export button.

2. Wait for the export wallet dialog (Privy branded) to appear.

Step 4: Export Your Wallet

1. In the dialog, verify:

   • Title: Export wallet

   • Description: Copy either your private key or seed phrase to export your wallet

   • Warning: Never share your private key or seed phrase with anyone

2. Click the Private Key button to reveal it.

3. Copy the full private key.

4. Save it in a secure offline location.

5. Close the dialog.
